A very comfortable win and into the fifth round, cannot complain at all.
Some really strong performances from Joao Gomes, Agbadou and Rodrigo Gomes and the second half largely felt like a friendly/training game. The fact we didn’t really need to play at our best to win is a positive and intensity wise it wasn’t anything serious for us, Cunha playing 90 minutes sort of shows that as well.
Their goalkeeper should have done better for Joao Gomes’ goal but we will take it and then a really well worked second goal. Nice quick pass from Semedo and a brilliant finish from Cunha.
Back-to-back wins and clean sheets can only give us confidence which we will need going into the next two games which are two very difficult away ones. Hopefully we can get another decent tie next round and keep the cup run going along fighting to stay in the Premier League.

The transfer window has closed with only Man City spending more than Wolves. Not many people would have expected that scenario - is it enough to change the latest song lyrics? We can all sit in judgement over the coming months, with avoiding relegation the deciding factor of whether the window was a success or not.
Back on the pitch we had a Cup game to negotiate against a team just nine places below us in the football pyramid.
After a cagey, scruffy opening half an hour, it was pleasingly plain sailing. No Cup shock, nothing to see here.
The breezy conditions did not help long passes, while Blackburn were tight, man for man, in the opening stages. There was little flowing football. Our concern was the right side where Bueno was being beaten for pace, picked up an early yellow card, and was in need of better support from Semedo or midfield. Two set pieces from that side saw us allow free headers, one of which we were lucky not to go behind from.
Although it was not very pretty we were winning plenty of tackles and pressing quite high. It was from one of those situations that we scored. Winning the ball high up it was good to see Gomes in the box and forcing it in. Inside two minutes a clinical Cunha finish made it 2-0 and effectively ended the tie.
Rodrigo's pace bailed us out on one occasion with Johnstone looking to be dashing out in no-man's land. One other good thing to see was the referee showing a booking for diving. I wish more refs did that.
There seemed only limited ambition from Blackburn after the break, the game became more open. Johnstone made a few routine saves but Cunha or Munetsi could have bagged the match ball while Sarabia also had a couple of chances.
