Chorley took the lead inside six minutes when Warren Clarke squared for Tommy Carr to convert from inside the six-yard box.

Ashley Hemmings pulled Kidderminster level in the 21st-minute as he extended his league tally to 12 goals. Paul Downing released Caleb Richards, who cushioned the ball down with a sumptuous first touch, before finding Hemmings unmarked to tap home.

Mark Ellis restored Chorley's lead midway into the second half and Adam Blakeman almost extended their advantage when he slammed his free-kick off the crossbar.

Kidderminster almost rescued a point late on but Chorley goalkeeper Matthew Urwin impressively tipped Charlie Lutz's low drive behind.
