West Brom terminate midfielder's loan after half-season struggle

The 26-year-old midfielder struggled to make an impression at The Hawthorns after his signing late last summer. He made 22 appearances in all, 10 of which were starts.
His parent club, Italian second tier outfit Sassuolo, have instead sent the Serbia international out for another loan spell at one of his former clubs, Braga in Portugal.
Racic tumbled down the midfield pecking order at Albion, behind Alex Mowatt, Jayson Molumby, Ousmane Diakite and £2.5million January recruit Isaac Price.
It is understood the Baggies are content with their midfield options and are unlikely to hunt a replacement in the final days of the January window, which shuts on Monday night at 11pm.
Albion completed their second signing of the window on Friday night, to secure the loan signing of sought after 19-year-old Tottenham striker Will Lankshear.
