Browne, who joined Walsall in September, has made both of his two appearances in the EFL Trophy this term.
Donervon Daniels' recent calf injury could increase his chances of breaking into the squad and former Birmingham City academy star Browne is eager to make his mark if given the chance.
He said: "I haven't been playing as much as I probably want to but that's because of the situation we're in at the moment.
"We're top of the league and we're flying but I've just got to make sure I'm ready and give my all whenever I'm called upon to make the step-up."
The 20-year-old gained valuable minutes on loan at Tamworth earlier in the campaign, with Walsall fielding a settled back-three of David Okagbue, Harry Williams and Taylor Allen.
Despite watching on from the side lines, Browne has described working with the defensive unit first hand as an important education at such an early stage in his career.
"Yes, (you can learn a lot) from watching those three play. But it's not just the defensive unit but as a team in terms of the standards and how professional everyone is," he continued.
"The dedication that everyone has towards what Mat Sadler is trying to instil into the team. You just learn without really noticing and then in the long run you'll look back at how much you've learned."
