The Northern Ireland international midfielder completed a move to The Hawthorns last week from Standard Liege - and is so far Albion's only signing of the January transfer window.
He came off the bench in the second half of Albion's 5-1 victory over Portsmouth - and impressed supporters and his manager in his brief cameo.
Mowbray had already commented that he liked what he had seen from Price in training on Friday, and he is now in line for a first start since his arrival as Albion head to Plymouth on Friday.

Ousmane Diakite, who looked set for a campaign watching mainly from the sidelines has sprung into action since Christmas, and his combative midfield displays have added another option in the middle of the park for Albion.
And last week we saw John Swift return to the side and occupy a deeper role than his usual number ten position. So, where does Price fit in and how will Albion shape up in the coming weeks?
Jonny Drury and Lewis Cox discuss Mowbray's range of midfield options on the latest episode of the Baggies Broadcast.
