In amongst this tough fixture run that Wolves find themselves in, playing against 10 men Arsenal and losing 1-0 can only be classed as a missed opportunity when we are so desperate for points.
Arsenal shaded the game for clear cut chances and probably deserved the victory, but when you play against a side with one of the best defensive setups in the league, the lucky to be starting again Sarabia needs to score early on from Semedo’s pin point cross.
Seemingly struggling for energy in the forward areas, the lack of movement and runs in behind meant Wolves were once again causing problems for themselves by aimlessly passing it about at the back until Sa would play us into trouble.
Vitor Pereira’s decision making in this game has to come into question. It was blatantly obvious that Arsenal were trying to level things from a red card point of view, Gomes had already made one or two fouls before getting his red, and should have been substituted after the 60 minute mark.
For Pereira to then once again wait for attacking substitutions is very frustrating, Rodrigo Gomes' directness and energy would have been perfect for the game, so to give him 5-10 minutes is unforgivable.
A shining light from the game was Agbadou, excellent in the air, fast over the ground and sharp in the tackle - he did not deserve to be on the losing side.
A huge week or so remaining in the transfer window. As the song goes, “back to team, or sell the club”.

'If you make peace with it now, the easier it will be'
I saw this comment after the game on Saturday and it's stuck with me all weekend. This is the reality of the situation we are now in; relegation is highly likely!
The club is an absolute mess right now. A culmination of seasons where the team has been neglected. In the space of five years, we have gone from Europe to this, and it's all on Fosun and Jeff Shi.
This is what happens when you try and do everything on the cheap, your opponents strengthen and you get left behind. It's got to the point now where teams like Bournemouth, Forest, Brentford and the like have surpassed us as a club. We are now in a group of five clubs which are significantly weaker than the rest.
Everton look like they are surviving, which leaves us, Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton as the ones fighting to stay in the league. Saints look doomed, which leaves one of three clubs lucky enough to stay up. Whoever it is needs to realise how fortunate they are.
The trouble is I can't see where our next goal is coming from, never mind the next win.
