Mat Sadler is understandably reluctant to change a winning formula and is likely to name the same side that stuck four past MK Dons last Saturday.
Tommy Simkin has started all but one game since arriving on loan from Stoke City in the summer while the back-three of David Okagbue, Harry Williams and Taylor Allen have been a staple throughout the campaign.
Connor Barrett has started every league game at right wing-back, with Liam Gordon starting just one fewer on the other side.
Aside from Barrett, Ryan Stirk is the only other Walsall player to start every game in League Two this term. The midfield performance was essential in the previous outing, with Stirk acting as the composer in the holding role.
Jamie Jellis has started contributing at the top end of the pitch again with a goal and an assist apiece in his last two games. And Oisin McEntee has seized his chance in the line-up after building on his excellent second half display in the comeback win at Notts County on New Year's Day.
McEntee has been preferred to Charlie Lakin in the recent wins over Tranmere and MK Dons respectively to further underline Walsall's strength in depth in the centre of the park.
Jamille Matt, who has worn the armband for much of this season, has scored three goals in as many games to extend his season tally to nine.
The question is who will partner the 35-year-old in attack? Last week, Albert Adomah, two years his senior, rounded off the scoring in the 4-2 crushing of MK Dons.
Josh Gordon also got vital minutes from the bench for the second game in succession following his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury.
There were no minutes from the bench for Danny Johnson though which suggests it'll be a toss-up between Adomah and Josh Gordon unless a new centre-forward comes in before the weekend!
Walsall Predicted XI (3-1-4-2): Simkin; Okagbue, Williams, Allen; Stirk; Barrett, McEntee, Jellis, L Gordon; Adomah, Matt.
Subs: Hornby, Asiimwe, Weir, Comley, Lakin, Johnson, J Gordon.
