Vitor Pereira's honeymoon period as the new head coach is well and truly over and he has a fight on his hands to keep this club in the Premier League.

Although Wolves were never expected to win at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea had a comfortable evening and there is work to do with this Wolves team to keep their head above water.

Defensive concerns

Set pieces have been a problem all season.

Gary O'Neil could not fix them and publicly criticised the decision making of his players and now Pereira has called for more aggression in the duels, as he looks to find a solution.

Wolves have been working on set pieces consistently in training and even practice them on the pitch in warm-ups for Premier League games, but it still does not seem to be clicking for them.

After the defeat to Chelsea, Wolves have now conceded a league-worst 19 goals from set pieces in 22 games and currently do not look like they will solve this glaring issue.

They are too easily beaten in the air and are lacking the alpha male character they need.

New signing Emmanuel Agbadou has improved that and although he looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet - albeit playing on the wrong side - he has added more athleticism and speed to the defence.

However, one man cannot fix all the problems on his own and Wolves need another centre-back signing.
