Alex Palmer 6
Came out to thwart an early Boro break before being beaten from range by Hackney. Arguments the ball swerved and made it difficult for the keeper, but he will be disappointed he didn't do better. Then produced a solid save soon after to prevent a Boro second.
Darnell Furlong 5
Started well, shooting wide at one end and pulling off a super diving header to prevent a chance. In the second half made two or three sloppy areas in possession that allowed Boro to break, when Albion had them under pressure.
Mason Holgate 6
A better display than we have seen. Solid enough in the first half, before seeing a header come back off the post as Albion searched for an equaliser. Then produced a top interception and a key header over as Boro fired back at Albion. Received some flack from fans, but far from his worst display.
Torbjorn Heggem 6
A steady and average display from Heggem. Boro had one or two chances from headers in the first half with the defenders arguably giving the forwards too much room. Didn't do an awful lot wrong throughout though.
