Oisin McEntee may have went four months without a league start for Walsall but it always felt as if Mat Sadler's door was left open.

That has been the case with so many of Walsall's table topping heroes, with Harry Williams, Taylor Allen and Jamille Matt all rising from the fringes over the past 12 months.
Even with McEntee sat on the bench, Sadler spoke about him in glowing terms and knew that the Irishman still had an important role to play in the Saddlers' assault on the League Two title.
It's often those underrated, jack-of-all-trade versatile players who best exemplify the team ethic which Sadler has cultivated at the club and McEntee is a prime example.
To suggest his versatility alone is his biggest strength would be doing him a disservice. After all, McEntee is an accomplished central defender while his transformation into a marauding midfielder heralded six goals and four assists last term.
