Very little he could do about Nathan Lowe's opener as the former Walsall man latched onto a miscued shot. Aside from that, there was nothing for the Albion keeper to do.

Darnell Furlong 

He will be disappointed with how easily he was beaten for the Stoke opener. He was up against Lewis Koumas, who is a tricky winger, and was the Potters' biggest threat all afternoon.

Mixed: 6

Mason Holgate

The defender started as the right-sided centre-back and had a few difficult moments in the game. It was a tough afternoon for Holgate. 

Struggled: 6

Torbjorn Heggem 

The Norwegian has been a revelation since he arrived at The Hawthorns in the summer. It was another assured performance from the defender in this clash.
