The 'Brawl at the Hall' bill is set to serve up a fight night to remember in March with Griffiths set to enjoy a well-deserved homecoming in front of his supporters.

Dudley's featherweight Midland champion, 24, stepped in at short notice in London last weekend and fell to a narrow points defeat against highly-regarded undefeated Umar Khan, the first defeat of Griffiths' eight-fight career.

He has the chance to defend his regional title against an opponent to be declared. The strap was claimed in a memorable fight-of-the-year points victory against previously unbeaten Lewis Morris last March.

Also in action on a top night of Black Country Boxing Promotions (BCB) scraps is Stourbridge's Ben Collins, who took his record to 3-1 with December's confidence-boosting victory over Harry Matthews.

Twenty-year-old Collins, who is signed to Queensbury Promotions, brings some extra motivation to right the wrongs of his sole pro defeat at the same venue against Poland's Patryk Polasik last July.

Coseley challenger Liam Gould (6-1) is eager to put himself back on the map after a quieter second half of 2024. The 26-year-old is a former Midlands welterweight champion and wants to put himself back in contention after a round one stoppage defeat to Ben Vaughan last April.

Walsall's Jay Jay Tonks made a winning start to his boxing career having transitioned from the kick-boxing game.

But it was two years ago the 31-year-old saw off Edgars Sneidze in Wolverhampton. Tonks will be keen to make up for lost time in his second bout.

Completing the bill are Birmingham's rising star Omarah Taylor (3-0), a former star amateur who has settled very swiftly since she stepped up to pro, and Blaine Williams.

Welterweight Taylor is already eyeing a first title shot and is one to watch under the guide of Anthony Joshua coach Joby Clayton.

Selly Oak super lightweight Williams is two wins from two since his start to the paid ranks and will be keen to continue a perfect start.

The packed night of Dudley Town Hall action takes place on Friday, March 28. Tickets are £45 for general admission and £80 for VIP ringside, from the boxers directly or by emailing info@bcb-promotions.com
