The Saddlers have plundered 31 goals in 23 matches after the break - 10 more than any other team in the division.
Over 72 per cent of Walsall's tally of 43 league goals so far have been scored in the second half including each of their last seven.
Mat Sadler's squad also have nine members who've totted up more than 2,000 minutes across all competitions, with Connor Barrett amassing the most with 2,503.
And Sadler believes strength and conditioning coach Jonathan Fenner, who arrived in the summer after 13 years at Wolves, has played an instrumental role in improving his squad's endurance.
He said: "We've got some incredible athletes. We work really hard on recovery and we work really hard on increasing that endurance.
"I think in Jonathan Fenner we've got a fantastic strength and conditioning coach. I want to whisper it a little bit because he is top, top drawer.
"Callum who was with us last year was incredible and Fenners has also been incredible. Two people who're wonderful at their jobs and I want to make sure they both get that recognition.
"He is brilliant and is a big part of what we do but most importantly, what we've got is young and hungry players.
"But it doesn't stop. We've just got to keep going. I'm a believer in a team of athletes and I want that throughout the squad. And when you've got that, opportunities tend to present themselves"
