Toti Gomes was already on the sidelines and was joined by the banned Matheus Cunha, alongside knocks to Nelson Semedo and Craig Dawson and a family issue for Andre.
Wolves are closing in on the signing of Reims defender Emmanuel Agbadou but the new head coach says there is still work to do in the transfer window.
"If we want to be honest, we know and everybody knows, that we need some positions," Pereira said.
"We need to bring players to help us. More solutions to face this league and the club is working.
"I believe that the players will come. Not too many players, because I don't want too many, but we need to recover our players as soon as possible and to bring two or three players to balance the team."
The injuries to Semedo (hamstring) and Dawson (calf) are not expected to be serious, however, while Toti is also one or two weeks away from returning.
