33-year-old Hemmings opened the scoring on the quarter-hour mark with an inventive flick from James Kellermann's low feed to reach doubles figures for the campaign.

He bagged his brace just six minutes later with a confident sweeping finish after evading the offside trap to race on to Joe Foulkes' headed flick on.

Maziar Kouhyar applied a composed finish under Slough goalkeeper Charlie Horlock to add Kidderminster's third on the cusp of half-time.

And Hemmings completed his treble nine minutes after the restart when he once again peeled away from the last man to finish clinically past a stranded Horlock.

Kidderminster have booked their place in the fifth round for the second successive season and will learn their next opponents in the draw which is due to take place at 3:15pm this afternoon.

"We made lots of changes today and we won the game comfortably but it's getting into that hat, it's getting into that last 16 and it's getting one step closer to Wembley," Kidderminster boss Phil Brown said.

"People will be starting to play their strongest team, I can't tell you what my strongest team is now I've seen that today.

"Completely blew them away in the first half and it was based on the changes if the truth be told. I've got a lot of thinking and a lot of work to do on the training ground next week."

Rushall Olympic boosted their survival hopes by registering back-to-back league wins for the first time this season with a 3-1 success at Farsley Celtic in the National League North.

Joe Hull broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when he towered above his marker to meet Milan Lalkovic's pinpoint corner with a thumping header.

Dylan Youmbi equalised for Farsley just six minutes later but Kian Ryley restored the Pics' advantage 11 minutes after the break with his second goal in as many games.

Lalkovic laid on his second assist of the afternoon as Ryley bagged his brace with a powerful finish into the top corner to seal another crucial three points for bottom-place Rushall.

Farsley occupy the final place above the drop zone as Rushall moved to within six points of safety.

Stourbridge extended their winless run to five games after falling to a 3-1 defeat at St Ives Town in the Southern Central.

Jernade Meade broke the deadlock for St Ives on 30 minutes before Ethan Creary doubled their advantage less than 60 seconds after the interval.

St Ives stretched their lead further when Josh Allen nipped in at the near post to squeeze his finish past Stourbridge goalkeeper Callum Smith with 22 minutes remaining.

Elliott Durrell headed home from close-range to reduce the arrears 13 minutes from time but was unable to prevent Stourbridge slipping into 10th--place with a third loss in four games.

Meanwhile, fourth-place Halesowen Town's trip to league leaders Kettering Town was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Hednesford Town climbed into fourth spot in the Northern West after extending their winning streak to three games with a 2-0 home triumph over fellow promotion contenders Nantwich Town.

Manny Duku and Dominic McHale both scored inside 25 minutes to put the Pitmen on course for victory as they leapfrogged opponents Nantwich in the table.

Chasetown, who were comfortably beaten 3-0 by local rivals Hednesford on New Year's Day, suffered a second successive setback after losing 1-0 at second-place Congleton Town.

Daniel Needham scored the only goal of the contest in the 71st-minute for Congleton as Chasetown slipped to sixth.

Stafford Rangers remain 19th after suffering a fourth defeat in five games with a 2-1 home loass against Newcastle Town.

Newcastle scored two quickfire goals on the cusp of half-time through Carlos Dos Santos and Tyler Webster to move into the driving seat.

Zidan Sutherland halved the deficit for Rangers 10 minutes after the restart but was unable to help inspire them to a comeback.

Andy Landell scored a hat-trick to propel Sporting Khalsa to a resounding 5-1 victory in their local derby against Lye Town in the Northern Midlands.

Simeon Cobourne also bagged a brace to help secure a third win on the spin for Khalsa while Joe Palmer grabbed a consolation for Lye.

Sporting strengthened their grip on fifth spot although back-to-back defeats left Lye sitting third from bottom.

Elsewhere, Darlaston Town's trip to third-place Worcester City was called off due to a frozen pitch. They remain in seventh spot although Wellingborough moved level points with them after beating fifth-place Anstey Nomads 2-1 - leaving all three teams locked on 35 points.
