Alex Palmer 7

Hardly called upon in the first half but had to be sharp to rush out and thwart a Swansea counter attack in the second half. Kept a stinging shot in the second half out, and had absolutely no chance with the goal.

Darnell Furlong 7

A couple of good early tackles and produced a superb pass down the right for Grant. Had a volley deflected over in the second half as he tried to get involved in attacks. Won some key headers as the game wore on.

Mason Holgate 6

Slotted back in well with a good early block to deny Cullen. Almost cost Albion with an horrific pass from an Albion corner that allowed Swansea to break early in the second half.

Torbjorn Heggem 7

Good covering of Styles in the first half, and won everything in the air. In the second half when the hosts were throwing balls into the box, he won absolutely everything. But at the death he let Allen get across him to glance in the equaliser.

Callum Styles 6

Got caught a bit early on but put in a fine early block. In the second half had to do a lot of defending and did it well. Question mark over whether he should have stopped the cross for the goal.

Ousmane Diakite 7

Booked inside a minute for handball, but was immense in the first half. Good on the ball and got Albion moving with a number of key interceptions. Looking more and more comfortable every game.

Jayson Molumby 8

A busy display as usual and had an up and down first period. A couple of slips in possession almost let to Swansea goals, but he was still a major force in Albion's attacks and was superb for the Albion goal Drove forward, picked the right pass and found Fellows.

Jed Wallace 7

A surprise inclusion but put in a good first half display. Launched a number of counter attacks down the right, before a superb touch from a swirling ball set him clear but he couldn't sort his feet and the chance went. He just lacked an end product but there were some encouraging signs.

Karlan Grant 7

Had a few opportunities to shoot in the first half, before he had a header and a long range effort saved.. Also put in a superb low cross but no one was there. Was involved in a few openings in the second half before coming off.

Mikey Johnston 6

Sharp at times yet again. Linked well, looked dangerous and saw a fierce dipping shot drop just wide of the post. Showed a few flashes in the second half but couldn't find that final bit of quality.

Josh Maja 8

It goes without saying that his hold up and link play is just top class. It was again here, and two or three times in the first half he put Albion in when it looked like nothing was on. Did it in the second half yet again, setting up Grant before being taken off.
