The Baggies were aiming to make it back to back wins on home soil and they did just that.

The victory and display threw up some interesting talking points, and now potentially some questions for Carlos Corberan.

Jonny Drury has a look into some key talking points to come from the victory.

Grant conundrum as Swift answers the call

Not having Karlan Grant at his disposal was a big blow for Corberan ahead of kick off. That isn't a sentence you'd have said back in August.

But he has been so key for Albion that not having made them weaker attacking wise, or so we thought.

John Swift was handed the role of filling Grant's shoes, and he had a quiet first period. Unlike Grant who plays high, Swift has that directive to stay deeper and try and create from there.

Early on he didn't have a big impact, but he grew into the game and played a hand in the build-up to the second.

And in the second half he was one of the key players in almost every Albion attack, alongside Mowatt as they built from deep and hit on the counter attack.
