After the game on Saturday, it felt like Gary O'Neil would have to leave.
Fosun had given him as much time as they could have done, and I feel the fans would have wanted it to work for O'Neil.
But unfortunately, the numbers do not lie. The lack of wins and the number of goals they have conceded have not been good enough, and neither was the performance at the weekend.
It was really poor from Wolves in the game, and after it - with the events that unfolded on the pitch.
You just got the feeling that something had to change, and the only thing you can tweak at this moment in time is the manager.
And that is why there was a sense of inevitability about it, but I am disappointed for O'Neil.
