Albion have been on a well documented run of draws in recent weeks - with ten stalemates in their last eleven outings.
Their solitary win in that run came on the road at Hull City - but they ended the streak against the Sky Blues on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Alex Mowatt and Karlan Grant.
The victory, Albion's first on home soil since September, sees them move back into the top six - as they take on Watford and Bristol City ahead of the busy festive period.
