Albion face off against Coventry on the back of one of their stronger performances in recent memory against Sheffield United last time out.

The line-up selected by Carlos Corberan for Sunday's 2-2 draw against the table-topping Blades was what most Baggies supporters consider the strongest available XI at the moment - and I would go along with that. It was the first time this season that side was used.

That does not mean, however, that the same side will be selected to face Frank Lampard's Sky Blues. It is not as simple as that.

For Corberan, more than most, the devil is in the forensic detail and he will select the side he deems best to counter Coventry's qualities while trying to be a threat.

For me, though, on the face of it and fitness-allowing I would select the same starting line-up at The Hawthorns. Those 11 players performed well for large parts of the game against a top side and have earned the right to go again.

Fitness conundrums could be an issue for one or two - Corberan listed four important players in his press conference on Monday who all require assessment for the demands of a three-match week. The head coach did not reveal any other fresh injury concerns.

Grady Diangana may well be OK to return to the bench and that could be a boost in terms of some desperately-lacking creativity in reserve.

There are certain individuals I really want to see stay in the side at the moment. Jayson Molumby stamped his authority all over Albion's midfield against the Blades and has made himself a key player. Callum Styles at left-back is enjoying a fine run of form and has shown his capabilities on the front foot.

For Albion to succeed as an attacking unit this 4-4-2 system, with Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston on either flank, must continue to work. Fellows and Johnston led the way with top displays on Sunday.
