West Ham was a huge game for Wolves and O'Neil, one people thought Wolves would have to win, and unfortunately they didn't.

I actually thought Wolves set up reasonably well with Matt Doherty and Rayan Ait-Nouri as the wing-backs, I thought those two were the best players on the evening.

As an away performance goes they looked a lot more solid. They weren't at their best in attack, I thought the attack was better at Everton in parts, but it was a better away performance. Wolves limited West Ham to very little. Sam Johnstone looked assured and calm, it's been tough for Jose Sa recently.

It was about staying in the game and it looked like Wolves had done that. There was the chance at the start of the second half where Ait-Nouri's flashed it across the box - and then the big moment came.

Wolves have been terrible at defending set-pieces this season. They concede too many, but some had been defended reasonably well, until Wolves gave Tomas Soucek, West Ham's best at attacking the ball in the air, that much space at the back post is inexplicable. They didn't mean that, so something's gone wrong there.
