Jamie Jellis - calf (0%)
Mat Sadler confirmed after the 1-0 win at Port Vale that Jamie Jellis will be ruled out this evening.
Jellis hobbled off with a calf injury during Walsall's 4-0 defeat against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup at the end of last month.
The midfielder was believed to be in contention for last weekend but will instead be targeting a return for the home fixture against Barrow on Saturday.
Sadler said: "No if I am honest (he won't be available for Reading). He was never playing today but he will hopefully be available for Saturday (against Barrow)."
Brandon Comley - cheekbone (0%)
Comley was forced off at the end of the first half on his maiden start of the season against Charlton.
Last week, Sadler revealed that the midfielder suffered a fractured cheekbone, which has been operated on, and will spend at least four to six weeks on the side lines.
He said last Thursday: "Coms (Comley) will be out for four to six weeks. He's got a fractured cheekbone which he's had operated on and won't be in the building until Monday."
Josh Gordon - hamstring (0%)
Josh Gordon is on track for a mid-January return after spending the past three months out of action with a hamstring injury.
The striker has not featured since limping off in the early stages of Walsall's 2-1 win over Cheltenham Town on August 31.
He has been on the grass continuing the next part of his rehab but is still not expected to be available until after the New Year.
The Walsall boss confirmed last week: "Josh is where we want him to be. He's on his way back.
"He will be back towards the back end of January by the time he's back in contention to play."
Priestley Farquharson - thigh (0%)
Farquharson has suffered a setback on his road to recovery from a thigh injury which has kept him out since August.
The defender, who has been plagued by injuries during his 18 months at Walsall, was targeting a return after the New Year.
Sadler revealed last month that he had participating in the warm-up in training for the first time as he edged closer to a return.
But the centre-back went to see a specialist last week and is now expected to spend a further two months out of action.
Sadler revealed: "Priestley unfortunately had a setback last week. He saw a specialist on Wednesday whose confirmed it's a decent setback.
"So he's probably looking at another couple of months on the side lines which is a real kick in the teeth for him.
"We're gutted for him and will need to rally around him."
