Carlos Corberan's hosts led at The Hawthorns before two goals in as many minutes from the Blades turned the scoreline on its head. Tom Fellows struck with a deflected effort after the break to claim a draw - a 10th in the last 11 games - with a share of the spoils the least Albion deserved.
We look at some of the talking points in the latest Albion debrief.
Best XI’s first selection
Corberan went with a starting line-up that satisfied pretty much every Albion onlooker. It was an attack-minded 4-4-2 against the high-flyers and, interestingly, the first time that XI has been named this season.
Corberan's availability has chopped and changed this season. Albion started in a winning first month with an identical line-up, it had Semi Ajayi - now injured - in the backline and no room for winger Mikey Johnson.
But, after a month or two of injuries in the defence and experimental rotation in midfield, Corberan may have found what many Baggies supporters, and perhaps even he, considers his best side at the moment.
That XI certainly put in a vibrant performance against the Blades. They were busy, full of attacking intent and showed quality and composure in all positions.
