Albion host current leaders Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon in a stern test of the hosts' credentials.
The Baggies have drawn nine of their last 10 fixtures and have won just once in the last 12 games. Chris Wilder's visitors are unbeaten in their last seven games, featuring six wins.
Attacker Diangana has not featured in the last three games since the international break. Corberan has previously explained Diangana has felt calf discomfort but scans showed no injury, but Albion have since had the issue checked by a specialist and the DR Congo international remains sidelined.
Speaking last week, the Baggies head coach revealed how much of a loss Diangana is proving to his side in a struggling run of form, given that the attacker managed seven goals and eight assists to help Albion reach the play-offs last term.

Grady Diangana - calf (zero per cent chance of featuring)
Corberan said in his Friday press conference: "Unfortunately Diangana still has pain. Our doctors said that the report from the scan, with a specialist, they found a small injury, but not an important one, close to the nerve.
"Because it's close to the nerve it can increase the feeling of pain. Until this pain disappears, he cannot come back with the group. He has been working this week with the medical staff, so it's a pity but still we need to be patient in managing this special injury. There's a small muscle damage but it's close to the nerve."
Corberan has not given a timeframe for the attacker's return but with a busy period of three games in the next week ahead it is unlikely he will feature.
Jayson Molumby - groin (95 per cent chance)
The Republic of Ireland midfielder struggled to train prior to the previous game at Preston last weekend.
Molumby was left out in favour of loanee Uros Racic at Deepdale, though the former was well enough to emerge from the bench halfway through the second period.
The energetic midfielder has trained normally this week, however, in the build up to the Sheffield United clash and is expected to feature.
Ousmane Diakite - knee (85 per chance)
The Malian international midfielder has missed two games since he was due a rare start at Sunderland two Tuesdays ago.
He was set to start in defence that day, due to an availability crisis, but missed out due to pain in his knee from a training ground collision a week or so earlier.
Diakite is back in contention, however, having trained normally this week.
Paddy McNair - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
Corberan gave an updated return training date of December 20 for the on-loan centre-back. That gives Northern Ireland international McNair, who has missed several weeks, a chance to feature before his loan to San Diego in the MLS expires.
Daryl Dike - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
The luckless striker is set to return to training towards the end of December having damaged his hamstring upon the return to training after his long Achilles setback.
Corberan again pleaded patience when it comes to the United States international's return.
Semi Ajayi - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
Corberan said the Nigerian defender is "progressing well" but he is the club's lengthiest absentee.
He underwent surgery on a serious hamstring injury from the Cardiff home stalemate at the end of October and is not set to return to training until late February at the earlier, with potential match action suggested to be March.
