Boss Mat Sadler salutes display and mentality of Walsall goalscorer
Head coach Mat Sadler praised on-loan Walsall midfielder George Hall for taking his chance in Tuesday's impressive victory over Notts County.
Hall, 20, played a starring role as Sadler's troops delighted the home faithful at the Bescot Stadium with the 3-2 success, in which the Blues prospect struck a fine second goal.
It was his first league for the Saddlers in just his third start in League Two, with injury keeping fellow midfielder Jamie Jellis on the sidelines.
Boss Sadler said Hall - voted man of the match by the sponsors - was able to deliver such a display due to his mentality while out of the side and reckons the powerful midfielder complements the rest of his 'number eight' central midfield options perfectly.
