Jamie Jellis - calf (50%)

Jellis hobbled off with a calf issue during Walsall's 4-0 defeat against Charlton Athletic last week.

The 23-year-old was absent for Walsall's 3-2 success over Notts County on Tuesday but is "touch and go" ahead of the weekend.

Sadler said:  "Jamie is very close. Touch and go for the weekend, we'll decide on him probably Friday morning but he's certainly in contention."

Brandon Comley - cheekbone (0%)

Comley was forced off at the end of the first half on his maiden start of the season against Charlton.

Sadler revealed that the midfielder suffered a fractured cheekbone, which has been operated on, and will spend four to six weeks out.

He said:  "Coms (Comley) will be out for four to six weeks. He's got a fractured cheekbone which he's had operated on and won't be in the building until Monday."

 Josh Gordon - hamstring (0%)

Josh Gordon is on track for a mid-January return after spending the past three months on the side lines with a hamstring injury.

The striker has not featured since hobbling off in the early stages of Walsall's 2-1 win over Cheltenham Town on August 31.

He has been on the grass continuing the next part of his rehab but is still not expected to be available until after the New Year.

Sadler said last month: "Josh has a scan today to check how everything should be on this part of the journey. I believe after that then he can kick on with the next part of it.

"Still looking like mid-January but he's on track."

Priestley Farquharson - thigh (0%)

Farquharson has suffered a setback on his road to recovery from a thigh injury which has kept him out since August.

The defender, who has been plagued by injuries during his 18 months at Walsall, was targeting a return after the New Year.

Sadler revealed last month that he had participated in the warm-up in training for the first time as he edged closer to a return.

However, Farquharson went to see a specialist earlier this week and is expected to spend a further two months out of action.

Sadler confirmed: "Priestley unfortunately had a setback last week. He saw a specialist on Wednesday whose confirmed that it is a decent setback.

"So he's probably looking at another couple of months on the side lines which is a real kick in the teeth for him.

"We're gutted for him and will need to rally around him."
