Daventry Wolves launching special book to celebrate 50 years
One of Wolves’ longest running supporter clubs is to celebrate its Golden Anniversary next year, including the publication of a book marking its 50 years of history.
Daventry Wolves – also known as DDCWWFCSC - are trying to track down as many members past and present to feature in the publication, which will be penned by leading Wolves author and historian Clive Corbett.
Although Daventry is based in Northamptonshire, for the last 30 years over half of the membership have hailed from Wolverhampton and the Black Country, and all members, past and present, are being encouraged to contribute.
Club chairman Chris Cox, one of three founder members alongside Richard Meacock and Frank Hobbs back in October 2025, would now like to hear from anyone who is able to pass on their memories and can be put in touch with Clive.
