FA Cup: West Brom handed Premier League trip as Wolves & Aston Villa face tough tests

West Brom will take on Premier League opposition in the shape of AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup third round - while Wolves and Aston Villa both face tricky ties.

Albion, who took on National League opposition in the third round last year, will now have the chance to test themselves against Premier League opposition, after the Cherries downed Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.

Elsewhere, it is a tricky tie for out of form Villa who will welcome West Ham to Villa Park in an all top flight clash.

For Wolves, they will also have a task ahead of themselves to reach the fourth round, as make the trip to Ashton Gate to take on Championship outfit Bristol City.

Some of the other big ties of the round will see National League Tamworth play host to Premier League Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal and Manchester United will take on each other in one of the marquee ties - while Man City host League Two Salford City.

The ties, which no longer involve any replays, will take place across the weekend of January 11.
