The Baggies toiled to a lacklustre 1-1 draw at Deepdale where the hosts responded in the second half to cancel out Karlan Grant's opener and make it nine draws in 10 games for Albion.

An annoyed away end jeered Corberan's decision to withdrawn striker and top scorer Josh Maja five minutes from time as part of a double change introducing John Swift and Jed Wallace.

Boos followed at full-time with Albion's poor sequence extended to one win in 12 games.

The Spaniard hinted he has to make changes in relation to how he sees players "energy levels", in accordance to his other options.

Asked about the displeased response from travelling supporters, Corberan responded:  "I understand completely. They are right in any type of thoughts they have but me as a coach I need to make the decision I understand is the right decision according to the energy levels of the players and the players we can have.
