The story of Albion's patched up backline at the Stadium of Light has been told a number of times - but he has been handed a boost.

It was expected that Kyle Bartley would return for Saturday, but he was forced back in on Tuesday night due to injuries.

Now he is set for another start, and for me it looks highly unlikely that he will be left out of this one.

Given he has consistently been Corberan's men and has hardly let the head coach down, he comes straight back in and that means someone has to make way.

On performances, it is going to be Mason Holgate. He hasn't done a lot wrong but his partner Torbjorn Heggem has been faultless and is undroppable in many eyes.
