Harry Phipps gave Dagenham the lead just past the half-hour but Maher set-up the second of Daniel Creaney's brace to help complete the turnaround.

Tamworth ended a run of four games without a win to sit 15th-place ahead of their FA Cup second round tie at League One outfit Burton Albion on Sunday.

"It was a no-brainer. Ronan we know from when he was at Rushall and I've spoken about him various times with Sads at Walsall," Tamworth boss Andy Peaks told the club.

"This was the right time, he's not had enough minutes there. He knows what we do, he knows how he play.

"He came with his blessing because he likes what we do here. It's a fantastic link for me and the club with Walsall. The more I can get the better because they've shown their worth today."

Charlie Wragg played 68 minutes as Tim Flowers opened his Alvechurch reign with a 1-0 home win over Bedford Town.

Archie Crowther scored the only goal in the 13th-minute to help lift the Church into 15th-place in the Premier Central.

George Barrett started between the sticks as Lye Town ended a six-match winless run to climb off the foot of the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands with a 3-2 win at Coventry Sphinx.

Lye fell behind inside 23 minutes when Josh Hayward gave the hosts the lead but goals from Joe Palmer, Lewis Wright and Dan Tozer propelled them into a 3-1 lead 12 minutes later.

Roan Newey halved the deficit 20 minutes from time but Lye held out to leapfrog Grantham Town and move to within one-point of safety.

Jenson Kilroy registered a clean sheet in Hereford Pegasus' 2-0 home victory over Cirencester Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division.

Goals from Harry Pitman and Jordan Williamson in either half secured maximum points to lead the Redmen to back-to-back home wins.
