The Pics, who had beaten Royston 1-0 just seven days earlier in the Isuza FA Trophy, were held to a point by Warrington in Vanarama National League North.

Luke Benbow gave Rushall the lead on the stroke of half-time as his left-footed shot following a corner went in.

But 20 minutes from time Warrington got one back as Connor Woods scored from the penalty spot.

The result leaves the Pics second from bottom in the table having taken 12 points from their 17 games.

Kidderminster Harriers are at the other end of the table in third place, but their trip to Scarborough Athletic was postponed due to the weather.

In the Southern League Premier Central, Halesowen Town recorded their fifth consecutive league victory with a win over Biggleswade Town.

Kieren Donnelly gave the Yeltz the in the third minute of added-on time at the end of the first half when he headed in Conor Tee's corner.

They doubled that lead 18 minutes from time when Jordan Ponticelli tapped in a second.

Tee got on the scoresheet from the penalty spot to add a third. Biggleswade managed a late consolation when Onyeagwara scored from the spot.

And Russ Penn, the Halesowen manager, said with expectations high every game is a challenge.

"It was a really tough game," he said. "The expectation goes through the roof after you have won five league games on the bounce and we put a performance in like we did last week.

"Everyone expected us to win, and I always had that little doubt thinking we had to be at it to win the game.

"And we did. We had to show quality, and it shone through in the end. We look really good going forward at the moment, we are averaging more than two and half goals a game in the last six or seven matches which gives us a great chance to win points."

Stourbridge trail the Yeltz by five points, but they did not have an opportunity to play this weekend as their trip to Spalding United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The two sides are set to play against each other next weekend.
