Kitman David Joyce and Simon Hill, who leads the PA address on matchday, were sanctioned for misconduct amid the late touchline fracas during the 1-1 draw against Crewe at Bescot Stadium earlier this month.

Both have admitted to the charge and as a result have been dealt three-match suspensions, as well as fines, by an independent regulatory commission.

Joyce has been fined £350 and Hill has been hit with a £100 fine.

The incident occurred during unhappy scenes late on during the Saddlers' draw against the Railwaymen on November 9.

The touchline melee played out in stoppage time of the contest in which Walsall's Nathan Lowe had scored an equaliser five minutes from time.

Joyce was booked by the match referee. Crewe boss Lee Bell and Walsall defender Liam Gordon were also cautioned.

Walsall's kitman and pitch-side announced had until November 18 to respond to the charge. The Saddlers' next three matches are at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, at home to Bromley on Tuesday night and next Saturday's home FA Cup second round tie against Charlton.

It is believed the sanction for both individuals covers three games in total.
