Guyana emerged 4-1 victors in the first leg in Barbados last week and stormed into a three-goal lead before the break courtesy of a hat-trick from Osaze De Rosario.

Barbados fought back after the break as Thierry Gale bagged a brace and Niall Reid-Stephen got on the score sheet for the visitors.

But further goals from Omari Glasgow and Isaiah Jones wrapped up the win as Guyana sealed their place in the Gold Cup preliminary round with a 9-4 aggregate victory.

Guyana will face a two-legged tie against Guatemala in March in the next stage of the competition.

They have only qualified for the competition once with Gordon featuring twice as they were condemned to a group stage exit in 2019.

Elsewhere, Stoke City loanee Tommy Simkin was not involved for England under-20s in their 1-1 draw against Poland in the Under-20s Euro Elite League.

Filip Luberecki gave hosts Poland the lead before Dom Ballard salvaged a point for the table topping Three Lions.
