Karlan Grant is one who has impressed so far, as has Torbjorn Heggem since his summer move to the club.

They are just two of a number of players who have put in impressive displays so far this season.

Sky Sports Football presenter and ex-midfielder David Prutton has been reviewing the Championship season so far, and has named his team of the campaign up to now.

But have any Albion players made it in?

Yes, they have, but not the two mentioned above which may surprise some.

However, the two who have made the grade won't surprise anyone either.

As one of his midfielders, Prutton has chosen Alex Mowatt. Mowatt has been the anchor and the key cog in everything Albion have done this season.

Aside from a glaring error which led to a goal against Luton in the recent 1-1, he has not put one foot wrong.

On naming him in his side, Prutton said: "The different managers he's worked under have helped to create a really nicely rounded player.

"Carlos Corberan will be working them every single minute of every day to be as good as they can. But Mowatt would be up for that fight as much as anyone else."

And unsurprisingly, Josh Maja was the other Albion player named in the side.

He race to the top of the scoring charts, but despite being on a bit of a dry spell he has netted nine times in 15 games so far this season.

Prutton said: "The decks have been cleared a little for him at West Brom, and he's scoring goals for fun.

"It's not rocket science to say if you're on the pitch more then you're more likely to score goals.

"But he's done that, and he's been ably assisted by very good players around him."

Prutton's Championship team of the season so far:
