Wolves picked up their first win of the season before the international break, but still sit 19th in the Premier League table after a difficult start to the campaign that has seen them accrue just six points.

They now go on a run of favourable fixtures until Christmas as they look to move away from the bottom three, and as O'Neil takes the positives from a short unbeaten run, the head coach says he has learned and is still learning about the group and his own methods.

"I've learned a lot about the new players and how they fit into the group," O'Neil said.

"Also about how players respond to disappointment and how we train in our approach to the next one.

"I'm always learning about myself. I've been up against loads of the top managers in the world in the last few weeks and our team has been more than capable of competing.
