The Baggies central defender has made 11 appearances in all competitions as he looks to boost his senior experience after a loan at Bolton in the second half of last season was scuppered by injury.
Wanderers have won eight games in a row in all competitions and a sole defeat in 17 games came in a 2-1 EFL Cup exit against Villa in September. Corberan has been keeping tabs on highly-rated Taylor from afar but will use the current break to catch up with the academy product.
