Frabotta, the summer signing from Juventus in Italy, has yet to force his way into Corberan's reckoning and is without a Championship start.
He will not feature at Hull on Sunday due to an adductor injury picked up in training earlier this week. Frabotta was absent from the 20-man matchday squad against Burnley on Thursday and 18-year-old academy right-back Deago Nelson had a place in the matchday squad.
The Italian is one of four first-team defenders sidelined through injury and unavailable for some time. Callum Styles, another summer recruit, has been Corberan's pick at left-back and Styles did well against Burnley in the 0-0 draw.
Here is the latest round-up from the Baggies' treatment room featuring Corberan's comments on Frabotta's lay-off from Thursday night.
Gianluca Frabotta - adductor (zero per cent chance)
Corberan said: "It is a difficult injury to explain because he trained without a problem but after training he reported pain.
"In this situation we gave him rest, the next day he had pain, we made the scan and it showed a small injury in the adductor of the right leg.
"I asked the medical staff to know the reason and nobody knows the reason of the injury. It will take a couple of weeks or three out of the team."
Kyle Bartley - knee (zero per cent chance)
Was not expected to return from a minor knee procedure until December at the earliest. International break comes at a come time for the experienced stopper.
Semi Ajayi - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
The centre-back is missing Nigeria action due to the serious muscle issue which required surgery and will not play until well into the new year due to the frustrating setback.
Paddy McNair - hamstring (zero per cent chance)
Remains to be seen whether he has kicked his final ball of a half-season loan at The Hawthorns after a hamstring injury of his own just a minute or so into the home clash against Cardiff at the end of last month. Like Ajayi he is ruled out of international duty for the next fortnight.
Daryl Dike - Achilles/hamstring (zero per cent chance)
Disappointingly for the powerful striker his long-awaited comeback from a second serious Achilles injury was delayed due to feeling discomfort in his hamstring on his return to full first-team training. The update came as a real blow to the striker who now is not expected until Christmas time at the earliest.
