The Baggies went eight games without a win and have managed just two home goals in seven games at The Hawthorns this season in the stalemate with the Clarets.

It was Burnley who departed the Black Country the more frustrated given referee Tom Nield's decision to disallow Jaidon Anthony's header on the hour mark for a soft foul on Callum Styles - a decision Corberan thought the official got right.

Albion are now six-and-a-half hours without a home goal after a sixth drawn on the spin in the Championship, albeit a share of the spoils was enough to climb to fifth.

A smattering of boos greeted the half-time and full-time whistle, louder at the latter, as Albion failed to break down the Clarets. Corberan claimed he did not hear the discontent but that he totally understands the feeling.

"I didn't feel frustration, or hear frustration from the fans but I completely understand frustration from the fans," Corberan told the Express & Star.

"I think they have been supporting the team when they are not seeing goals, We want to give better results to the club and to them. It is our responsibility to achieve that, especially my responsibility as coach. My work is to find the solution that makes the team offer better performances and results to the fans."
