The midfielder, who arrived from non-league Tamworth in January, scored a dramatic late winner in Walsall's 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup first round at Bescot on Saturday.

Jellis has scored three goals in his last four matches in all competitions and has netted five times overall during his first full season at the club.

And the 23-year-old has credited his regular conversations with former Saddlers striker Byfield for helping him increase his output in front of goal.

"Confidence, momentum and taking that into each game. Believing that I'm going to get a chance to score and I just think having those run of games," Jellis acknowledged.
