Fresh from their ruthless 6-0 win over Halifax, Wolves now turn their attention to cup action on Sunday.

The hosts compete in the Tier 6 East Midlands Regional League: Central, and currently sit third in the division and are yet to lose a game following their three-game winning streak.

“We will prepare exactly the same, nothing will be different," McNamara said.

“We will make sure the girls are ready. We’ve got to respect Asfordby.

“There is big money to be had in the FA Cup early rounds and beyond the money, is the memories.

“We had some superb memories last year and we want to go and do that again.

“We want to go and create opportunities for players and for us to really remember.

“We want to create good occasions and hopefully we can do that against Asfordby and then we will see what will happen later in the competition.

“To get to the fifth-round last year was unbelievable. We absolutely loved our time in the FA Cup last year.

“We had Brighton here and it was an amazing occasion, that is what you are in football for.

“You are in football for those moments where they re-unite you in years to come when you are out and about and you see these players again, they’re the reasons you are in football.

“We will definitely be looking to create some new memories over the next few months.

“Without disrespecting Asfordby, we can rotate. We can get players in and get some opportunities out.

“However, we have got to make sure that we win the game. That is first and foremost.

“Like we did against Halifax, we want to win the game and then we can get players on and give them opportunities to impress.

“I thought a few players did that in the game, it was outstanding for Quigley to get her first couple goals.”
