Stourbridge hoping to kickstart their season
Stourbridge hope to jumpstart their home form by beating bottom-of-the-league Biggleswade Town, writes Dan Hickey.
The Glassboys are third in the Southern League Premier Central, four points off first-place Kettering Town who beat them in their last league fixture.
Manager Liam McDonald said: “Our home form hasn’t been great, so we want to make sure we put in a good performance.
“Ultimately, this stage of the season, it's about winning games and trying to get on that winning run and building that confidence.”
Biggleswade go into the match as clear underdogs. They sit rock-bottom with one win all season. McDonald, however, won’t underestimate his opposition.
“They’ve beat some big clubs already this season and took some of the bigger clubs to the wire, so we know it's going to be difficult.”
Ninth-placed Halesowen Town host relegation-threatened Spalding United. Town just knocked Congleton Town out of the FA Trophy.
After beating Peterborough Sports 1-0, Kidderminster Harriers will hope to grow their National League North play-off hopes as they face Buxton at home.
In Northern One West, Chasetown travel to Runcorn Linnets, while Stafford Rangers host Wythenshawe Town.

Lichfield City look to defend their lead at the top of the Midland League Premier Division as they face third-placed 1874 Northwich. They’ll want to turn around their form after drawing to Tividale, who travel to dead-last Uttoxeter Town.
OJM Black Country host Stourport Swifts and Dudley Town are visited by AFC Wulfrunians, while Stone Old Alleynians host Highgate United. High-scoring Brocton travel to mid-table Romulus.
If Alleynians win, Wolverhampton Casuals can escape the relegation zone if they beat visiting Shifnal Town.
Bilston Town have a chance to go top of Midlands League Division One, should they beat Chelmsley Town away, while Smethwick Rangers travel to Leicester St Andrews with the same hopes.
