Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas set for Black Country roads in Commonwealth Games
Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas will be racing on Black Country roads after being confirmed in the Wales team for the Commonwealth Games.

Thomas, who won the Tour in 2018, will compete in the time trial event which starts and finishes in Wolverhampton on August 4.
The 36-year-old is a double Olympic champion and one of Britain’s greatest ever cyclists.
Birmingham 2022 will be the third time he has competed at a Commonwealth Games, having first won bronze on the track in Melbourne 16 years ago.
The 37km time trial route starts and finishes in West Park and heads out to Dudley before looping back to the city.
