Mac Taylor delivers for Express & Star
Mac Taylor grabbed the headlines as the Express & Star claimed the Wolverhampton Senior League Division Five Cup.
The Star’s D side came out on top of a thrilling final with Bradmore B on the well-manicured green of Swindon BC.
The Star looked on course for a comfortable victory when they led 63-43 but Bradmore rallied impressively and nosed in front by a single shot, 85-84.
So the destiny of the trophy came down to the last game on the green between Taylor and Barbara Oliver. And it was Taylor who delivered as he claimed a 21-16 success to see his side to an overall four-shot success.
