The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international is currently on loan at Slovakian team Dunajska Streda, helping them secure a Europa League place.

He has also enjoyed loan spells with Portsmouth and Walsall since making his professional debut in 2016.

Despite his early promise, Ronan's career at Wolves appeared to be tailing off, largely due to the influx of foreign talent following Nuno Espirito Santo's appointment in May 2017.

Wolves' success under Nuno has led to minimal chances for fringe players, hence the reason the 21-year-old has spent lengthy spells out on loan during the last two campaigns.

Despite this, following confirmation of Wolves' involvement in this seasons Europa League qualifying stages, the much loved Portuguese manager may feel he needs to add numbers to his modest sized squad with what appears to be a gruelling early season schedule in store.

Ronan has currently made seven first team appearances for Wolves, with his first coming in a 2-0 away win at Nottingham Forest in December 2016.
