Reanne fails in World Snooker Championships bid
Dudley’s Reanne Evans saw her bid to qualify for this year’s World Snooker Championships ended by China’s Zhang Yong.
Evans, who plays for Sedgley Ex-Service in the Staffs and West Midlands League, slipped to a 10-2 defeat in the first round of the qualifying tournament at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
Evans did post the highest break of the match, with a run of 75 in frame six.
