FA Cup third round draw: Who do Wolves, West Brom, Walsall and Aston Villa play?
Wolves have been handed a tough draw in the FA Cup – at home to seven-time winners Liverpool.
The third round tie is a reversal of the fixture which saw Wolves beat the Anfield giants 2-1 in the fourth round in January 2017, thanks to goals from Richard Stearman and Andi Weimann.
This season’s fixture, to be played on the weekend of January 5, comes just two weeks after Wolves hosts Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Premier League at Molineux.
Elsewhere, Albion were handed a home tie against fellow Championship side Wigan Athletic.
Villa were also handed an all-second tier clash as they host Swansea City – the side they beat 1-0 in Dean Smith’s first game in charge.
Should Walsall beat Sunderland in their second round replay at the Stadium of Light, their reward would be a trip to face Bolton and the Saddlers’ former midfield star Erhun Oztumer.
In one of the ties of the round, minnows Solihull Moors – managed by former Wolves goalkeeper Tim Flowers – were handed the chance to host Arsenal if they can beat Blackpool in their second round replay.
The third round is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Saturday 5 January 2019.
Winners of the 32 ties will receive £135,500 and a place in round four.
Third Round Draw selected clubs:
