New Wolves season tickets for 2018/19 will go on sale
There will be 1,650 Molineux seats up for grabs to new season ticket holders when they are released for sale to Wolves fans on Monday.
The news comes as managing director Laurie Dalrymple revealed a ‘record breaking 98 per cent of existing season ticket holders’ – more than 20,000 supporters – had already renewed for Wolves’ return to the Premier League.
Dalrymple said: “It is clear that the demand for a season ticket at Molineux is at an all-time high.
“Keeping our supporters at the forefront of our thinking, we have devised the fairest method of allocating the remaining 1,650 tickets to new season ticket holders.
“Supporters should rightly be rewarded for their loyalty, and anyone who attended a significant amount of fixtures last year will be eligible to purchase a season ticket for our first season back in the Premier League.”
Adult season tickets will start at £486. Fans aged under-17 will be charged £150 and fans under-12s £69.
Tickets on Monday will be available from 10am to supporters with more than 200 loyalty points, with that scale sliding at 10 points a day until all have been snapped up.
Wolves have also chosen to cap season tickets at 22,500 to leave 10 per cent of the Molineux available to supporters on a match-by-match basis.
Dalrymple added: “We believe this is the best way to give all Wolves supporters the opportunity to support their team, whether they are season ticket holders or not.”
New season ticket holders will receive extra benefits including priority on all away and cup matches and free entry to all home under-23 matches.
They will also be able to resell their seat officially through a club buy back scheme if they can't attend a fixture. This scheme will earn them 'Wolves Cash' through each transaction - which can be spent of merchandise at the club shop, match tickets or future season ticket renewals.
