Payday for duo Aaron Rai and Robert Rock
Staffordshire’s Robert Rock and Aaron Rai each collected another payday at the Hassan Trophy in Morocco at the weekend
Rock, from Armitage near Rugeley, ended the tournament in joint 36th place on three over par for the tournament, collecting a paycheque for just over £15,000.
Wolverhampton-born Rai finished three shots further back in joint 52nd place, taking home around £7,700.
The tournament was won by France’s Alexander Levy boosted his chances of qualifying for a Ryder Cup debut on home soil by claiming his fifth European Tour title at the Hassan Trophy in Morocco.
Levy carded a final round of 70 at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam to finish eight under par, a shot ahead of overnight leader Alvaro Quiros.
The 27-year-old will now defend his Volvo China Open title in Beijing.
