Snow fails to stop racing in Wolverhampton
Horse racing at Wolverhampton survived two inspections to go ahead despite the icy blast and snow over the weekend.
The meeting on Saturday night survived the snow – but brought a picturesque setting to the Dunstall track.
Staff had used tractors with snowploughs to get the Polytrack surface ready for racing.
